Focus on the quality of medical services in Ukraine and service. DOC.ua updated the ratings of 16,000 Ukrainian doctors
Why and how will it affect the quality of service in the country’s medical industry.
In November, the convenient online medicine service DOC.ua, which has more than 3 million monthly visitors, updated the ratings of 16,000 doctors across the country.
DOC.ua has long become not just a service for accessing medicine online in Ukraine, but also a highly trusted resource for choosing a doctor and medical facilities for hundreds of thousands of patients. For almost 10 years of operation, the service has collected more than 332,000 reviews of real patients about medical facilities and doctors. The formed database of reviews helps anyone to choose the best doctor or institution for their needs.
Key changes in the approach to the formation of doctor ratings took place with a focus on improving the quality and service of providing services in the medical field.
“It has become urgent to review the existing approach to the formation of doctor ratings and to simplify it – for even greater transparency and understanding by both patients and clinics, how doctor ratings are formed on DOS.ua. If previously the doctor’s rating depended on many parameters, for example, including from his experience and length of work, now the main weighty indicator is precisely the ratings of patients. Thus, the updated rating of doctors is formed depending on the quality of the provided medical care and treatment, as well as the service component of the visit to the doctor. The experience of the doctor (category and scientific degree ) remain as additional bonuses to its rating. In addition, we have improved the interface and functionality of writing reviews on the site, simplifying the way of providing feedback for patients,” says Andrii Umanskyi, Chief Product Officer of DOS.ua.
The relevance of such an update on DOS.ua was determined to a large extent by the full-scale war in the country, the change in the working conditions of many medical institutions and doctors. Trends among doctors repeat general social trends in the country. Some of the doctors went abroad and work in foreign medical institutions, providing services to Ukrainian patients now in the format of online consultations at DOS.ua. Someone – changed the city of residence within Ukraine, respectively, changed the clinic in which he works. All this can potentially affect the quality and service provided by the doctor.
“We have updated a tool that is used by hundreds of thousands of patients, and which allows clinics to monitor and influence these changes,” says Umanskyi.
The service also mentions another important new function. Clinics now have the opportunity to interact directly with patients who have left negative feedback on their doctor on the DOC.ua website. The service automatically transmits information to the clinic about reviews rated 1, 2, and 3 stars, providing an opportunity to promptly respond to them and resolve a conflict situation.
Issues resolved by the medical institution regarding negative feedback to the doctor on DOC.ua will now be marked with the “Situation corrected” mark. Such negative reviews, as before, will not be deleted, but will not worsen the doctor’s rating.
This feature was implemented by DOC.ua to help medical institutions positively influence service improvement both in their business and in the medical industry as a whole, and to retain customers from a business perspective.

Andriy Ogorodnik, CEO of the FEEDNOVA company, talks about the trends in the development of the green economy in a special material for the “New Country” project. The project was founded by the EFI Group company and the “Livyi Bereh” information site.
The world is changing rapidly, and with it, the demands on business and the economy. The modern generation, especially millennials, understands the importance of preserving the environment and careful use of natural resources. Ukraine can and should become an ambassador for the implementation of the philosophy of sustainable economy and green technologies.
In the modern world, climate change and the destruction of natural resources have become serious threats to humanity. The bright future lies in the transition to a green economy where business and nature exist in harmony.
Green economy is not only a buzzword, but also the essence of the future. According to World Bank research, countries that transition to a green economy increase competitiveness, create jobs and ensure sustainable development. FEEDNOVA’s business demonstrates that a sustainable economy can be good for business and good for the environment, providing a detailed analysis of global practices.

Green economy in the world
Ukraine annually produces 3,000,000 tons of meat in live weight. Residues and waste in the industry make up about 30%, which is about 900,000 tons per year, and far from all of them find the right ways of processing.
In the modern world, climate change and the destruction of natural resources have become serious threats to humanity. The bright future of the planet lies in the transition to a green economy, where business and nature exist in harmony.
Analyzing world practices and economic aspects of the green economy, we can state that Ukraine has unlimited potential to become known in the world as a leader in green technologies and sustainable development. One of the main success factors of the green economy is investment in research and development of green technologies. Countries such as Germany and China are already investing billions of dollars in the development of renewable energy sources and technologies that reduce their impact on nature.
Recycling is a step into the future where everyone can contribute to the conservation of natural resources. World data indicate that countries with a developed recycling system consume less raw materials and generate less waste. As an example, Japan has been able to achieve impressive levels of waste recycling by implementing innovative technologies and encouraging consumers to separate recyclable materials.
According to estimates by the United Nations Economic Fund, the transition to a sustainable economy can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 70%. The Netherlands is one of the countries marked by high achievements in reducing emissions and developing recycling. The country became known for its successful implementation of the concept of “circular economy.” The Netherlands recycles more than half of its plastic, made possible by efficient sorting and recycling systems.
Attracting investments and supporting the green economy in Ukraine
The processing industry of Ukraine has a huge potential for further development, especially in the context of the green economy. However, in order for the industry to develop even faster and attract investments, support and incentives from the state are necessary. Preferences and subsidies can become key tools to accelerate the growth of the processing industry and attract investors. Providing subsidies for the development of such enterprises will affect the country’s economy in several ways:
Stimulating innovation and sustainable development: the provided preferences can encourage companies to develop and implement innovative technologies aimed at reducing the negative impact on the environment. This can lead to the emergence of new industries and the growth of technological innovation.
Job creation: The development of green businesses can lead to an increase in the number of jobs, as the demand for labor in such companies increases. This will positively affect the unemployment rate and contribute to social stability.
Reducing the environmental impact: the development of green enterprises helps to reduce the negative impact on the environment. Reducing emissions and optimizing the use of resources help preserve nature and reduce pollution.
Increased competitiveness: Countries investing in the green economy can increase their competitiveness in the global market. Consumers are becoming increasingly aware of environmental issues, and companies that implement sustainability can gain an advantage in the marketplace.
Increasing domestic production: encouraging the development of green enterprises can help increase domestic production and reduce dependence on imports, which has a positive impact on the country’s economic sustainability.
However, it is important to balance the granting of preferences in such a way as not to violate budgetary sustainability and not lead to distortions in market competition. Also, due attention should be paid to monitoring the use of the provided benefits and the efficiency of the development of green enterprises.
Sustainability and recycling
The development of the green economy is important for Ukraine, and, of course, the state should be an active partner in this process, providing

The thanksgiving campaign is dedicated to the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, which is celebrated on October 1. By Defender’s Day, director Lubomyr Levytskyi, with the support of businessman Ihor Liski, the investment company EFI Group and partners, shot a video to show the daily feat of soldiers of the airborne assault troops.
The call to thank everyone who joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine and defends our land was supported by caring Ukrainians. You can congratulate the defenders by posting a post and an emotional video about the feat of the fighters in your social networks.
“Thousands of families today are waiting for their father, son, brother, husband to return home. But they are always close even when far away! And this two-minute work is just a small reminder of that, and a gesture of thanks to the heroes! Making videos today is completely different than before the war. There are no “cinematic” weapons or stuntmen in the video. Today we work with real heroes and deal with reality. It is a unique experience for me as a director to capture the story!” – noted Lyubomyr Levytskyi.
According to Igor Liski, respect for the military is decisive for our society and the formation of a new vision of the country. It is the people who protect the country from the aggressor, change our future and form a strong state.
“I am convinced that it will be difficult for each of us to find the right words. And how can ordinary words convey respect, admiration and love? On the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, I urge you to thank everyone who protects our lives. Warriors deserve support, because they tirelessly fight for freedom, love and life,” shared Igor Liski, founder of EFI Group.
The thanksgiving campaign will have no time limits.
Ukrainian honey of the company Beehive, which is part of the assets of the EFI Group, is now available to consumers in Great Britain. This became possible thanks to the launch of the UK Ukraine Trade Hub, an Oakland International company initiative aimed at supporting Ukrainian manufacturers and expanding their access to international markets.
“We are proud to continue to expand the geographic presence of Beehive honey in international markets. I believe that thanks to the hard work of the entire Ukrainian community, we will be able to introduce as many countries as possible to the quality of real honey. I urge you to promote Ukrainian! We have a lot of hard work ahead of us, but I am convinced that we will be successful,” said Beehive investor Ihor Liski.
Oakland International is certain that the UK Ukraine Trade Hub initiative helps Ukraine expand its horizons and contributes to the recovery of its economy. At the same time, the company will direct 50% of all profits received through the UK Ukraine Trade Hub to support the charitable prosthetics and rehabilitation center Superhumans in Lviv.
“This step is another manifestation of solidarity and support for Ukraine in this difficult period of its history. In addition, this initiative has the potential to contribute to the preservation of jobs and the promotion of Ukrainian goods. After all, this will allow us to present the best Ukrainian products to British consumers and bring a part of the homeland closer to hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians who found refuge in Great Britain after the war,” said Peter Turon, director of the UK Ukraine Trade Hub.
Currently, the Beehive company has made the first deliveries of honey to British retail and is negotiating with leading British chains.
