The Museum of Kyiv International Center together with patron Igor Liski opened the main exhibition project in December – “Christmas Stories of Kyiv”

The Museum of Kyiv, with the support of Ukrainian businessman Igor Liski, presented a unique exhibition where you can experience the spirit of Christmas of the last century. After visiting the Museum, visitors will see about a thousand exclusive and collectible exhibits that tell the stories of the lives of Kyivans of different eras and create an unforgettable atmosphere of a Christmas and New Year’s miracle.

Among the most interesting exhibits: original greeting cards of local and foreign production, a collection of Christmas tree toys and Santa Clauses, a unique Star of Bethlehem and many collectible Christmas tree decorations. During the entire time of the exhibition, it will be possible to attend excursions and thematic master classes in the museum, which will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of old Kyiv.

On the occasion of the opening, a press conference was organized with the participation of Tetyana Kostenko, general director of the Kyiv Museum of History Museum, head of the supervisory board of EFIGroup, co-founder of the Ukrainian Institute of the Future, patron Ihor Lisky, designer Natalya Sergeeva, and museum curator of the exhibition Olga Drug.

“Christmas stories of Kyiv” became possible thanks to the realization of the idea of the famous designer Natalia Sergeeva and the Ukrainian businessman and philanthropist Ihor Lisky. Sometimes it seems that the golden age of patrons has passed, but this exhibition proves that it is not so. We still have bright examples. But for me personally, it is much more important when we start a tradition of long-term cooperation with such projects. We are taking small steps towards our big goal – to create a global wave of Ukrainian philanthropy. I believe that together we are creating a future in which there is a place for the museum, respect for history and beauty,” said Tetyana Kostenko, general director of the Kyiv City History Museum.

The participants of the press conference discussed the need to restore the tradition of patronage and partnership in the cultural sector. The main goal of such cooperation was to care for future generations.

“In this difficult time of global changes, each of us wants to understand why we live. Usually, Christmas and New Year’s holidays are a time to take stock and make new plans. Of course, these are family holidays, during which you want to do great good. For me, the exhibition is a manifestation of family care, which unites the past and the present and allows us to build the future. We want to establish a tradition of visiting museums as a family, together with children and friends in order to revive family values. Kyivans have something to be proud of: incredible traditions, the spirit of patronage and the opportunity to share good things,” said the patron of the exhibition Igor Liski.

Olga Drug also conducted a curatorial tour for the guests of the event, emphasizing the importance of preserving the traditions of philanthropy and educating future generations. Designer and decorator Natalya Sergeeva held a master class on making a New Year’s card for the guests of the event.

“Only through creativity and understanding of beauty and traditions can children discover their own possibilities and develop their inner potential. Every gift and postcard made by their own hands is a great value that children will be able to give to the most precious people in their lives with great love. This exhibition, first of all, carries knowledge that stimulates you to create something new. Our small contribution to this global process consists in opening a wonderful, almost home exhibition, where everyone can come,” shared Nataliya Sergeeva.

The exhibition “Christmas Stories of Kyiv” will be open from December 24, 2021 to January 19, 2022, inclusive. You can visit the master classes by prior appointment on the website of the Museum of History of Kyiv.

How to make Ukraine’s GDP 1 trillion worth? – discussion at KIEF

The Kyiv International Economic Forum once again brought together leading experts, businessmen, investors, government officials and society to discuss topical economic issues.
Trend analysis and heated discussions on socially important topics have always been a trademark of the forum. This year, one of the hottest was the discussion of Ukraine’s future GDP. In particular, the speakers put forward various hypotheses about how the state can reach the level of GDP of 1 trillion dollars. The terms of realization of the plan were also worrying. What can government and business do for this? What tools need to be used and in what areas can “national champions” be raised?

Discussion speakers:

Igor Liski is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of EFI Group

Serhiy Haidachuk is the founder and president of the CEO Club

Giovanni Salvetti Managing Director of Rothschild International Banking Group

Dmytro Natalukha Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development

Valentyn Zaporoschuk, founder and president of the PRAVIO group of companies

The issue of responsible leadership in Ukraine is also relevant today. After all, both the state and business must not only understand where our focus is, but also pursue a pragmatic target policy to create a powerful system of industries in the country. What will new businesses look like in the next decade and what are they really needed for?

Igor Liski, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the group of companies “Effective Investments”, said that the new industrialization of the country is the main task for economic growth.

“Actually, I see a real opportunity to realize the idea of a trillion GDP due to a great value transformation. Achieving a trillion GDP growth means growing non-linearly, but by huge leaps. In my opinion, we will come to such growth only thanks to large-scale breakthrough projects. Some colleagues at the Kyiv Economic Forum saw the country’s future in cryptocurrency, IT and agriculture. But I believe that there is no future in these industries if we ignore the need to create value-added products. The situation is the same with the classic leaders among the branches of the Ukrainian economy: heavy industry and energy. IT professionals, who mostly work for the added value of other countries, do little to really help the domestic economy, “said Igor Liski.

The investor also stressed the importance of developing value-added projects, namely those that are engaged in processing and focus on the global market.

Feednova installs equipment

Two batch BC-16000 boilers, the main equipment of the first stage of the enterprise, are installed on the construction site of the new Feednova plant. The total production capacity of the units is about 130 tons per day.

Modern equipment will allow efficiently, quickly and safely for the environment and people to process animal waste and produce high protein feed additives for farm and domestic animals from it.

– These boilers are the heart of our production process, so their receipt and installation are very important event. In total, there will be five such units at the plant,” – says Andrey Ogorodnik, CEO of Feednova. – We are working at a very high pace to meet the schedule and put into operation the first stage of the enterprise in early 2021.

Medicine in the smartphone: the online hub Doc.ua introduced a medical mobile application

The online medical hub Doc.ua introduced a mobile application, unique opportunities for customers and announced access to new markets. The application is available on the Android and iOS platforms and is the first universal mobile solution in Ukraine, where 1,500 healthcare institutions, 11,400 doctors and about 300,000 user reviews have been collected.

In the application, Ukrainians will be able to choose a doctor by profession, experience, rating, place and cost of services, make an appointment with him, and then leave a review. An important function of the service is the ability to sign up for laboratory tests, purchase medications or receive audio advice.

“Today, more than 1 million Ukrainians users trust us. With each update, we are approaching the goal of creating an online ecosystem with the ability to maintain an electronic map in a smartphone. This will be a breakthrough in patient care. You will not need to remember if you were vaccinated against measles, you had chickenpox in childhood and when you had a sore throat – all this will be on your online map. We are building a world in which it’s easy to be healthy – and that’s great inspiration», – says Sergey Kazantsev, founder of Doc.ua.

During the first half of this year, the company created a service of audio consultations with doctors, an online reference test for coronavirus, expanded the base by adding new medical specialists and new clinics. Doc.ua also concluded memoranda of cooperation with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Kiev, Cherkasy and Kherson regional state administrations.

“It’s really cool when with the help of one button in your smartphone you get access to the whole world of medicine, you can control your health. Previously, this was considered impossible, but we refuted this by developing a revolutionary mobile application. Now we are building the digital foundation of the medicine of the future. We strive to help people maintain their health, because Doc.ua is already improving the interaction between patients and doctors, clinics, medical centers, – said Igor Liski, chairman of the supervisory board of the Effective Investments group of companies. – Our goal is to become No. 1 in the market, to be an example of digitalization and a new approach to healthcare in all markets of our presence.”

“We are pleased that companies such as Doc.ua, which already have extensive experience in implementing online medical services, are creating a whole new level of doctor-patient interaction. I believe that together we can create the medicine of the future in Ukraine. – notes Yaroslav Kucher, Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine on digital development, digital transformation and digitalization. – I am proud that this application was developed by a native company”.

Doc.ua expands its presence in other countries and this year entered the markets of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Moldova. Soon the company plans to begin work in Georgia, Azerbaijan, the Baltic countries and the UAE.

The rebranding of the online medical hub Doc.ua was conducted by the marketing agency Fedoriv agency.
