During the annual meeting of investors, created by UkraineInvest to improve the dialogue between business and the government, companies investing in Ukraine after the start of the full-scale invasion, public figures and media that contribute to the development of Ukraine’s investment environment were awarded.
UkraineInvest recognized the enterprise for the production of high-protein feed additives and high-quality fats Feednova in the nomination “For the investment project for modernization and increase of production capacity”.
Samvel Ramazyan, the operations director of FEEDNOVA, noted that FEEDNOVA met the war in a state of commissioning, and thanks to a strong team, the company managed not only to cope with the challenges of the war, but also to modernize production.
“The enterprise not only reached full capacity, but also continued development: the total budget of investment projects that have been started and already implemented since the beginning of martial law is more than 5 million euros,” Samvel Ramazyan commented.
At the beginning of 2022, FEEDNOVA’s investors agreed to implement a solid fuel boiler house construction project with a total budget of more than 2 million euros, which was successfully completed and put into operation in 2023. FEEDNOVA continues to increase its production capacity, for which additional production lines with a total budget of about 3 million euros have been ordered this year, the equipment of which has already begun to arrive at the enterprise and is being prepared for installation.
This year, FEEDNOVA also implemented state-of-the-art European technologies for processing animal waste and managing its own waste and emissions. In particular, it implemented innovative wastewater treatment facilities with five-stage purification. The new biofilter brought the plant in Busk to the highest level of environmental friendliness. The new technology ensures not only the modernization of the enterprise, but also additionally cleans the air and improves the quality of the environment. The latest equipment and technologies make it possible to clean the workshop air to about 95-98%.
The activity of the processing enterprise is aimed at implementing the best global practices in the direction of handling waste of animal origin. In addition, the company implements the concept of a closed cycle economy in order to improve the environmental situation in the Lviv region and neighboring regions. FEEDNOVA exports its products to more than 20 countries in Europe and the world.
