We support children’s atr

The Zhytomyr сardboard factory (ZKK) and the PAGL company, which are part of the Effective Investments group of companies, supported the IV Ukrainian festival of architecture for children ARCHIKIDZ, which will be held in Kiev on June 27-July 23 this year.

The ZKK and PAGL provided young architects with creative materials that they use to create new masterpieces. In the event will take part children aged 7 to 12 years. The theme of the IV Ukrainian festival of architecture for children is “Nature in the city. Live together”. Considering the quarantine, the event will pass in off/online format. Participants will gather in a separate large pavilion of the National expocenter of Ukraine (950 m2) in small groups of 10-12 children.

The work of each group will be broadcast on the festival pages on social networks to attract other children to the master class in an online format.

“We are constantly working with our material, looking for new opportunities for its application and supporting interesting projects. It inspires us to go beyond the limits of the possible, ”says Sergey Rudkovsky, First Deputy General Director of the Zhytomyr сardboard factory. “We really liked the idea of the festival, because children are always sincere and direct, and wild imagination will help them create new masterpieces and see innovative solutions in the use of our products.”

Recall that in June 2020, ZKK and PAGL provided partnership assistance to the Zhytomyr folk art center for organizing and conducting the Star art patterns decorative art exhibition.

FEEDNOVA investors talk about the project

“NV” published a joint interview with Igor Liski, chairman of the supervisory board of the Effective Investments group of companies and Nadezhda Kaznacheeva, investment director of UMG Investments, in which they talked about the construction of FEEDNOVA – a plant for the production of high protein feed additives and animal fats.

According to Igor Liski, from the very beginning “Effective Investments” was looking for strategic investors. As a result, Mada Participations B. V. from the Netherlands and UMG Investments became partners of the company.

“We were looking for those who will strengthen the project, provide more than money,” – says Igor Liski. – “Dutch investors brought their expertise in processing livestock products, and UMG Investments brought their understanding of the processes, the experience of creating a business from scratch.”

FEEDNOVA will become not only a platform for the production of high-protein products, which are in high demand in the world, but also a plant that will help solve the global problem of livestock waste in our country.

“Now in Ukraine there are only small local specialized enterprises built by manufacturers for their own needs, and outdated factories created under the USSR that do not work at the proper level,” – said the chairman of the Supervisory Board of Effective Investments.

“We have a strong commercial expertise in organizing procurement and sales, we know how to bring new products to the market, including in the markets of Asia and Europe,” – adds Nadezhda Kaznacheeva. – It is very important for us that our projects are innovative and environmentally friendly. I want to do something, which can then be told to the children. For me personally this is very important.”

According to the estimates of “Effective Investments” in Ukraine it is necessary to build at least two more such enterprises of a full cycle. Therefore, FEEDNOVA investors are actively looking for new construction sites in the central and southern regions of our country.

Kiev Regional State Administration signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with DOC.ua

During June of this year, residents of Kiev and Kiev region can use free audio advice from qualified doctors and get online information testing for symptoms of coronavirus. This is stated in the Memorandum, which is concluded between the Kiev Regional State Administration and the online hub DOC.ua, which is part of the Effective Investments group of companies.

The signed document once again proves that business and government can join forces and cooperate productively, especially if it concerns the life and health of people.

“Consulting doctors for residents of the region is a useful initiative that will allow people to get professional advice and, possibly, prevent diseases. I am grateful to the doctors for their help. Especially during the coronavirus pandemic. I urge residents not to neglect their health and use the help of doctors on time. Take care of yourself and your loved ones,” – said the head of the Kiev Regional State Administration Vasily Volodin.

During audio consultations, the user receives professional advice from doctors that they provide, given the symptoms described. Also, doctors will help to draw up an algorithm for further actions and, if necessary, to decipher the test results. The duration of the consultation is 10 minutes. You can get this service after simple registration on the website of the online hub.

Also, on the DOC.ua website or on its pages in Viber or Telegram, you can take a simple online test to help you determine whether you are at risk for coronavirus disease. The program is based on the recommendations of the World Health Organization. The test results are for reference only and are not an established diagnosis.

“Adaptive quarantine with relaxed conditions was introduced in Ukraine, but this does not mean the final victory over COVID-19, therefore we strive to help as many people as possible,” – said Sergey Kazantsev, founder of DOC.ua. – Also do not forget that taking care of your health is always necessary. Other diseases have not disappeared. We need prevention and treatment. For this, we offer Ukrainians affordable and convenient services”.

Recall that earlier the online hub concluded memoranda of cooperation with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Cherkasy and Kherson regional state administrations and successfully fulfilled its obligations.

Feednova is building a water treatment

At the construction site of the new Feednova plant, the construction of a wastewater treatment complex began. About 600 cubic meters of concrete are poured into the foundation of the facility.

On a modern two-stage treatment, 13-14 thousand cubic meters of water will be supplied monthly. Such a volume would be enough for about 5 pools of the Olympic class.

High-performance equipment and technologies, the supplier of which will be the european company, will purify water from nitrogen, phosphates, fat and other technological impurities.

“The company will begin to produce high-protein feed additives for farm and domestic animals and work safely for the environment,” – says company director Andrei Ogorodnik. – We will install modern treatment systems, use advanced technologies and protect not only water, but also soil, air and human health».

Ahead is the construction of a water treatment room, the purchase and installation of equipment, and the commissioning of the facility.

Recall, investors Feednova – group of companies “Effective Investments” and the company UMG Investment – announced their intention to build two more such enterprises and are actively looking for land in the central and eastern regions of Ukraine.

New education system will help build a new country

The state and business should make joint efforts for the large-scale reform of the Ukrainian system of higher education to make it truly capable and competitive in the world. This was noted by the chairman of the supervisory board of the group of companies “Effective Investments” Igor Liski during an online discussion with leading experts on education, which was held by the Ukrainian institute of the future (UIF).

According to Igor Liski, the construction of a new country must begin with the transformation of the education system, move away from outdated standards and stereotypes that have been accompanying this area since USSR. For this, is important to understand not only the needs of the economy, but also what it will be in 10 years, which specialists will be in greatest demand, and begin to compete with universities in developed countries, including students.

“If the reform does not begin soon, we risk losing all higher education system,” – said the chairman of the supervisory board of the Effective Investments group of companies. – It is necessary that the state understands – changes are possible with a new philosophy of education, decentralization, and a revision of government procurement policies. Big business should also join this transformation, offer its own ideas and projects, and make large-scale investments. I have a dream that in Ukraine will appear investors, who will build a new model of higher education, focusing on creating the economy of the future.

The discussion was held as part of the online presentation “A new model of higher education and business interests. How to make universities a factor of economic growth in Ukraine?”, which was developed by UIF.

“Business is waiting for a clear and transparent interaction with universities, and universities need to be more flexible in terms of managing premises and money, purchasing equipment, transferring knowledge and technologies,” – said  Mykola Skiba, event moderator, expert on education and skills of the 21st century Ukrainian Institute of the future. – A form that combines the effectiveness and accountability of a modern university is the corporate management model, where management and leadership merge, and a collegial management body with the participation of stakeholders shares responsibility with the team.

Earlier, UIF introduced the concept of “Ukrainian University of the New Generation”, which has a vision and strategic goals for updating universities, as well as ideas on transforming their management, financing, organizing research and the educational process, developing academic entrepreneurship and technology transfer.

The Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the online medical hub DOC.ua agreed on cooperation

“The epidemic in Ukraine continues. There are some mitigations and the introduction of adaptive quarantine. However, in the future it is important that people can consult a doctor remotely, which will reduce potential infection in health care facilities during their visits,” – said Victor Lyashko, Deputy Minister of Health – Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine.

This step proves that authorities and businesses can effectively unite for the sake of preserving the health of citizens of Ukraine during the fight against coronavirus infection COVID-19.

Online audio consultations offered by DOC.ua allow you to remotely receive professional advice, which is relevant and convenient not only with a gradual exit from quarantine, but also in everyday life. Using this service reduces the risk of complications of the disease, because you can get professional advice from the comfort of your home.

To take advantage of audio advice, just fill out the form on the DOC.ua website and wait for a connection with a doctor. The duration of one session is 10 minutes. The service is available from 8:00 to 21:00 daily, seven days a week.

The duration of the free use of audio advice may be extended. This can be found on the website of the online hub.

“Preserving the health and life of people is the most important thing, therefore it is extremely important that business and government act as a single force in such difficult times,” – says Igor Liski, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the group of companies “Effective investment”. – “We are grateful to the leadership of the Ministry for mutual understanding and readiness for fruitful cooperation.”

For those who wish to undergo remote preliminary testing for symptoms of coronavirus infection, DOC.ua offers online testing services using a special application on their website or in Telegram and Viber.

Recall that the large-scale cooperation of the online hub with government authorities on the introduction of free medical online consultations began this spring, when, thanks to a partnership with the Cherkasy and Kherson regional state administrations, the service became available to residents of these regions.

Construction of a new enterprise continues

More than 120 tons of steel structures have already been installed at the site of the main production complex of the modern FEEDNOVA plant.  About 220 tons will be installed for further arrangement of the structure by the end of May.

This is one of the important stages in the construction of a plant for the production of high protein supplements and high-quality fats for farm and domestic animals.

“We are working hard and plan to complete the construction on time,” – notes Andrei Ogorodnik, director of FEEDNOVA. – “Ahead is the construction of the walls and roof of the main production complex, the supply of communications, the purchase and installation of equipment.”

The new enterprise will have the most advanced wax production equipment and technologies that minimize environmental impact.

FEEDNOVA investors are planning to build two more plants in Ukraine, for which they began to search areas in the central and eastern regions.

A new type of eco-products of the Zhytomyr cardboard plant

The Zhytomyr Cardboard Mill, which is part of the Effective Investments group of companies, is preparing to release coffee cup holders from an alternative raw material – coffee meal. Thus, the line of environmentally friendly products of the enterprise has replenished with another of its kind.

The first test batch of cup holders has been released, and mass production is planned to be launched within the next month.

«This is another example of a circular economy, when resources are locked in a single chain and raw materials are reused. The product is 100% processed and comes back to life, which significantly reduces the environmental impact,” – says Sergey Rudkovsky, First Deputy General Director of the Zhytomyr Cardboard Mill. – Our experts do not stop in the search for alternative raw materials, and we will expand the line of environmentally friendly products».

Innovative cup holders have another distinguishing feature – a pleasant coffee smell, which will perfectly harmonize with the aroma of the drinks served in them.

The plant plans that these products will be in demand by restaurants, cafes and gas stations selling coffee takeaway.
