The employees of “Energy of Ukraine” completed the project of large-scale modernization at the Krivoy Rog repair and mechanical plant of “Metinvest” company.
The company’s specialists have developed and erected eight new combustion chambers with modern burners and a new system of control systems (control cabinet) by thermal processes.
In the modernization project, replacement of gasoline equipment, gas pipelines and installed air ducts were carried out. The exits of the sunbeds on both dryers were restored. In addition, the coolant recirculation system was restored. Installation of a modern automatic control system drying allows you to quickly change the drying mode and control the safety of its operation.
Thanks to the professional preparation for the implementation of the announced work, the company managed to achieve high rates of economy of resources. Thus, natural gas consumption has decreased by more than 50%.

BEEHIVE company has joined the school in Chornyavka, the village where the largest Ukrainian honey homogenization plant is located. Zhytomyr Cardboard Factory, the leader of packaging production, also helped its first-time school to become a participant in the project. Forest Technology, a sawmill and pilotage plant, made it possible to open a special language camp in the village of Ukrainka.

Ukraine Energy company has successfully completed work on the improvement of the drying booth of cast-iron ladles of the blast-furnace shop at Ilyich MMK.
The project included installing a modern burner kit for locking and control valves and a control cabinet. The specialists of the company provided a full range of services for the maintenance of the facility at Ilyich MMK. Engineers started work from the design phase to commissioning. In the course of the pilot experiments, five drying sites were completed. According to the results of the land operations, the effectiveness of replacing the existing burners with the burners of Ukraine Energy was assessed. During the period of experimental drying, the company supervised the temperature of the ladle lining according to the indications of the thermocouples installed in the walls of the ladle.
In accordance with the act on the results of the drying, the gas-fired device (GGU) Ukraine Energy allows to provide the specified parameters of drying lining (120 0С on the boundary of the reinforcement-working layer) 21 hours earlier. These indicators are 27% less and the natural gas consumption for drying is 1203 m3, which is 33.9% less than with the existing work of the stand. This savings exceeds the 10% stated in the contract, by 24%.

Specialists of Energy Ukraine, which are part of the Company “Effective Investments”, completed work on the design of modernization of the technical re-equipment of the heating system using infra-red panels in the building of the electric power station and the building of the repair shop of the water sector of the GP MTP “Pivdennyi”. Implementation of the project will reduce the cost of heating up to 50%.

A quiet auction was held at the charity evening, at which the main exhibits were paintings from children with cancer from Okhmatdet.
