International Lawyer

We are looking for an International Lawyer

EFI Group is: A diversified investment company that builds businesses from the ground up and works with international partners, new markets, and complex structural solutions. We build transparent legal architecture for large-scale projects in Ukraine.

What you will do:

Support work with non-residents and international companies, including:

• Providing legal support for foreign economic activity (FEA)
• Drafting and analyzing contracts with foreign counterparties
• Working with corporate law and corporate governance matters
• Analyzing court practice and minimizing legal risks
• Communicating with representatives of foreign companies (in English)

Supporting the activities of legal entities and sole proprietors (FOPs) that are Ukrainian residents:

• Reviewing and agreeing on contract terms
• Drafting minutes of general meetings of participants and internal orders
• Preparing documents for participation in lease tenders and privatization of state property
• Preparing court documents (statements of claim, appeals, cassation complaints, motions, explanations, etc.)
• Concluding credit agreements
• Navigating legislation on the protection of economic competition

Our candidate:

• Has experience in international/corporate law
• Has confident command of English (spoken and written)
• Understands the principles of foreign economic activity, including the extension of deadlines for settlements on certain export and import transactions
• Is well-versed in corporate legislation
• Has experience in court practice
• Understands issues of international taxation and structuring
• Is systematic, detail-oriented, responsible, and proactive
• Has a desire for self-development
