Sem Ecopack Ukraine, one of EFI Group’s investment projects, has just received a status that gives the company a real advantage exactly where it matters most — at the border.
The company has received Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) status — one of the highest forms of trust granted to a business in international trade. It’s a step you won’t see on the production line, but one that SEM’s partners will feel every day.
AEO status confirms that all of the company’s processes — from accounting systems and cargo flow control to physical security, video surveillance, and risk management — operate as a single, transparent mechanism in line with the highest international standards.
For SEM’s clients, this means the essentials: products will clear customs faster, cross the border under simplified procedures, and international logistics will become even more efficient.
AEO is not the company’s first documented recognition of a high standard of business conduct. SEM has previously successfully passed SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) — one of the most respected international audits of ethical business standards — as well as international food safety audits.
Each such confirmation is more than just a certificate. It’s a reflection of the company’s approach to its work, its management culture, and its responsibility to partners.
This is exactly how trust is built — trust that can’t be won with words, only proven through results.
Congratulations to the Sem Ecopack Ukraine team!
