The Zhytomyr Cardboard Mill, which is part of the Effective Investments group of companies, is preparing to release coffee cup holders from an alternative raw material – coffee meal. Thus, the line of environmentally friendly products of the enterprise has replenished with another of its kind.
The first test batch of cup holders has been released, and mass production is planned to be launched within the next month.
«This is another example of a circular economy, when resources are locked in a single chain and raw materials are reused. The product is 100% processed and comes back to life, which significantly reduces the environmental impact,” – says Sergey Rudkovsky, First Deputy General Director of the Zhytomyr Cardboard Mill. – Our experts do not stop in the search for alternative raw materials, and we will expand the line of environmentally friendly products».
Innovative cup holders have another distinguishing feature – a pleasant coffee smell, which will perfectly harmonize with the aroma of the drinks served in them.
The plant plans that these products will be in demand by restaurants, cafes and gas stations selling coffee takeaway.
